The Milanese association YouSport presented the pilot project \u201cAzzurrini\u201d a few weeks ago at the Teatro Ciro Menotti.<\/p>\n
The initiative, which will start soon in the capital city of Milan, aims to promote the social inclusion of children with cognitive disabilities and on the autism spectrum through football and the adoption of new technologies.<\/p>\n
YouSport YouSport is an amateur sports association founded in 2020.<\/p>\n
Its aim is to promote processes of reception and social inclusion through sporting activities, aimed at improving mental, physical and educational conditions, social security and harmony between people of different origins and\/or social conditions and\/or psychophysical states.<\/p>\n
Integrating, including, uniting different people and getting them used to taking care of each other are the priorities in YouSport’s mission.<\/p>\n
Actions capable of positively influencing the economy and society in the coming years.<\/p>\n
A welcoming process is a process of growth of the person that benefits the community that is welcomed and the community that welcomes, therefore the entire community.<\/p>\n
For this reason it requires sustainability, professionalism, planning because the need cannot be supported only in the short term.<\/p>\n
In the first 2 years of activity, YouSport has created 7 multi-ethnic football teams, involving, every year, 140 young adults, of which two thirds are foreigners and at least 50 women.<\/p>\n
In addition to 50 minors from 4 primary and secondary schools. Over time, there have been several collaborations with approximately 10 non-profit organizations and various public bodies.<\/p>\n
The activities, all free, are now made possible by a staff<\/p>\n
of 10 people (including coaches, athletic trainers, sports psychologists and nutrition experts), for a total of approximately 600 hours of activity per year on the field and an operational structure made up of 4 people for a total of approximately 3000 hours per year.<\/p>\n
The event was opened by YouSport president Claudio Ceriani and Samuele Robbioni, sports and clinical psychopedagogue and member of the YouSport Scientific Committee.<\/p>\n
Together they introduced the Milanese amateur sports association, whose mission is to create a model of sports center based on the inclusion of categories today considered different or fragile.<\/p>\n
A community of champions of change that excludes no one.<\/p>\n
Over 500 people took part in the afternoon dedicated to sport, music and solidarity.<\/p>\n
Then, world champions Gianluca Zambrotta and Giuseppe Bergomi took to the stage.<\/p>\n
