Azzurrini Academy is a project to introduce football and inclusive motor activity; intended for children and young people with high-functioning autism spectrum disorders and/or mild intellectual disability; new technologies are used to reinforce the skills acquired on the playing field (cognitive training) and to improve the management of emotions (emotional intelligence).
The project is structured through individual or small group paths of children reported by the Neuropsychiatry of reference and involves close contact with the clinical structure and above all interaction with families, with whom to share individualized objectives and strategies aimed at ensuring the well-being of the minor. Networking is essential, because the care of the individual necessarily passes through taking charge of the entire system in which he is inserted.

Research and Development (R&D)

The data collected are compared every two years of the project. The data of minors who have completed two years of the course are reported.
The assessments are inherent to a contextual quarterly observation and vary in reference to the developmental and clinical path of the minors.
The research and development approach within Azzurrini Academy is based on three fundamental pillars: the neuroscientific understanding of autism and its behavioral correlates, the optimization of sports performance through innovative methodologies and the creation of a technological ecosystem that facilitates the inclusion and personalized monitoring of participants.
Through a constant commitment to academic excellence and methodological innovation, the project continues to be at the forefront of promoting a more inclusive and aware world, where talent and diversity are celebrated as precious resources for human and social progress.
